The Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the Double‑A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, unveiled a new fall baseball schedule for 2026 that showcases six NCAA Tournament teams, underscoring the club’s growing role as a regional baseball hub.
A centerpiece of the slate is a neutral‑site exhibition game pitting the Florida Gators against Troy on October 24 at Blue Wahoos Stadium, marking the Gators’ first appearance in Pensacola since 2013 and drawing excitement from local fans.
Historic Program Momentum
Florida enters the exhibition riding a streak of 18 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and a 29th season that includes more than 40 wins, a testament to the program’s sustained excellence.
The Gators will also face Florida State on October 10 and Alabama against Georgia Tech on October 17 as part of a weekend that highlights the depth of college baseball talent heading to the Gulf Coast.

Tickets for the Florida versus Troy game go on sale August 25 at 10 a.m. Eastern, offering supporters a chance to experience live baseball in a venue that has celebrated Southern League championships in 2017 and 2022.
