2026‑27 Season Overview
St. Lawrence University’s women’s hockey program has released its complete 2026‑27 schedule, a blend of exhibition contests, non‑conference series and a full ECAC Hockey slate that promises a challenging and exciting year for the Raiders.
The season opens with two exhibition games: a home matchup against Concordia on September 19, followed by a road game at Colgate on September 20, giving the team a chance to fine‑tune before the first official contests.
Early non‑conference action includes a two‑game series against Wisconsin at home on September 25‑26, then a road weekend at Maine on October 1‑2, setting a competitive tone for the campaign.
A highlight arrives over Thanksgiving weekend when the Raiders host Merrimack in a two‑game series at the historic Lake Placid venue on November 27‑28, bringing a festive atmosphere to the program.
The schedule also features a home game against the Golden Knights on October 8, followed by a stretch that includes home contests against Clarkson (October 9) and UNH (October 15‑16), as well as a road series at Penn State on October 23‑24.
ECAC Hockey competition begins on Halloween weekend with a road series at Dartmouth and Harvard, after which the team returns home for a Dec 4‑5 doubleheader against Colgate and Cornell before the winter break.
After the break, St. Lawrence travels to Yale and Brown on Jan 8‑9, then hosts the Route 11 rivalry against RPI and Union on Feb 5‑6, before closing the regular season with matchups versus Princeton and Quinnipiac on Feb 12‑13.
Head coach Chris Wells emphasized that the early schedule is designed to test the squad while building momentum among a growing fan base, noting that each series offers a chance to showcase the program’s depth and resilience.
