The Iowa Hawkeyes finished the 2025 season with a 9‑4 record, capping the year with a decisive win in the Reliaquest Bowl over Vanderbilt.
Returning Talent
Coach Kirk Ferentz will again lead the squad, and two of the team’s most experienced players, Kamari Moulton and D.J. Vonnahme, have announced they will return for the 2026 campaign.
The Hawkeyes will enjoy seven home contests at Kinnick Stadium, welcoming Northern Illinois, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Purdue and Nebraska, while the road slate includes trips to Michigan, Washington, Minnesota, Northwestern and Illinois.
Ticket Details and Rivalries
Ticket prices vary widely, with the season opener against Northern Illinois starting at $38 and the much‑anticipated rivalry game against Iowa State opening at $226, while the cheapest away‑game tickets are for the November 21 matchup at Illinois at $26.
Despite the optimism, Iowa enters the new season unranked in the US LBM Coaches Poll, a fact that adds an extra layer of intrigue to a schedule that also features the Floyd of Rosedale bronze pig trophy contest with Minnesota on October 24.
Fans can now purchase tickets for every game, with prices ranging from $26 up to $384 depending on the opponent and seat location.
