On December 4, 2026, the Harvard Crimson will travel to Durham, North Carolina, to meet Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium in a highly anticipated Brotherhood Run contest.
A Milestone Matchup
The game will honor Tommy Amaker, a former Duke point guard who captained the Blue Devils to the 1986 NCAA title game and earned national defensive honors in 1987.
During his tenure at Harvard, Amaker has guided the Crimson to seven Ivy League championships, four NCAA tournament appearances and a 300‑win milestone by the 2024‑25 season.
The Brotherhood Run series, which showcases Duke alumni who have taken head‑coaching positions at other Division I programs, has previously featured contests against Howard, Niagara, Arizona State and UCF, lending additional prestige to the upcoming meeting.
Historically, Harvard and Duke have met ten times, with Duke maintaining a flawless 10‑0 series record; their last encounter occurred on November 30, 1991.
The matchup will also mark Amaker’s return to Cameron Indoor Stadium, the venue where he once led Duke to its most celebrated championship moments.
