Princeton University has announced its 2026‑27 women’s basketball slate, a schedule that pits the Tigers against a who’s‑who of national contenders.
A Challenging Non‑Conference Calendar
Head coach Lauren Gosselin said the lineup is designed to sharpen the team’s résumé ahead of the NCAA tournament, offering a mix of home‑court advantage and testing road trips.
The opening stretch begins with a home showdown against Belmont on November 2, followed by road tests at Pepperdine and UCLA, the defending national champion, in California.
Other marquee matchups include a November 10 visit from Villanova, a November clash with Richmond, and a November meeting with Murray State, both of which entered the season with 20‑plus wins.
The Tigers will also travel to face Seton Hall in December and take on Rice and Houston Christian later that month, before a five‑game home stretch that starts with Rhode Island on December 10.
Ivy League Showdown and the Road to the Tournament
Conference play opens in January with Penn and Yale at Jadwin Gym, and continues with Harvard, Dartmouth, Brown and a Brown Bears visit on January 23.
The Ivy League Tournament will conclude the season in Philadelphia’s historic Palestra on March 12‑13, giving the Tigers a final chance to impress the selection committee.
