Championship weekend
The final weekend of the Electric Works Co‑Ed Summer Baseball League’s 2026 season turned into a celebration of sport, as the league crowned its champions amid cheers from players, families and the broader Port Angeles community.
Angeles Taproom emerged as the Majors Division champion, finishing the campaign with a flawless 15‑0 record under the guidance of head coach Seth Scofield. The title‑winning squad boasted a roster that read like a who’s‑who of local talent, featuring Ethan Barbre, Mason Christianson, Ripley Younger and a host of other standouts such as Charles Cromarty, Boe Horejsi, Ethan Itti, Brantly Johnson, Silas Liberty, Tanner Martin, Isaac Mayo, Elijah McGuire, Ashton Miller and Anberlin Younger.
Community gratitude
League officials took the opportunity to thank the coaches, volunteers, umpires, sponsors and families whose contributions kept the season alive, and to express deep gratitude to the Port Angeles community for its steadfast support throughout the year.
Looking ahead to 2027
With the championship season in the books, the league announced plans to welcome players and families back in 2027, promising another year of competition, camaraderie and community spirit on the diamond.
