All home games will be played at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena, where the Huskies will open the season with a two‑game series against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on October 2‑3, marking the Gophers’ return to Houghton after a 14‑year absence.
Rivalries and Road Trips
The schedule also features the traditional rivalry with Northern Michigan, with home-and-away meetings slated for December 4‑5, and a road trip to Bemidji State on December 11‑12 to close out the pre‑holiday stretch.
Playoff and Tournament Details
Following the regular season, the top four teams will host the opening round of the CCHA Mason Cup Playoffs on March 5‑7, while the NCAA Tournament will begin on March 25 with regional sites in Loveland, Colorado; Bridgeport, Connecticut; Springfield, Massachusetts; and Fargo, North Dakota.
The 2027 Frozen Four is set for April 8 and 10 at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., and all CCHA and home non‑conference games will be streamed live on Midco Sports Plus, with ticket information slated for release in July.
