Over two days, athletes were measured across hitting metrics, defensive drills, athletic tests and eye‑to‑brain tracking, generating baseline scores that were logged by a suite of motion‑capture cameras and statistical software.
Collegiate scouts from across the Midwest observed the action, using the data to compare players in real time and identify those who might fit their programs.

John Timmons, a senior catcher from Champaign Central, said the event’s blend of competition and camaraderie made the experience both challenging and rewarding.
Sam Ferris, another senior catcher from Rochester, echoed the sentiment, noting that sharing the field with peers who share similar college‑baseball ambitions added a unique camaraderie.
