The 2026 Jamestown Community College men’s soccer squad enters the season with a surge of optimism after confirming that 15 players from the previous roster will return, among them three all‑conference standouts: Adam Doyle, Liam Doyle and Casimiro Espeso. Adding to the excitement, former Jayhawk star Jesse da Costa has taken over as head coach, replacing Pat Anderson. Da Costa brings a blend of Division I playing experience and fresh energy, aiming to reshape the program’s culture and push it beyond the regional semifinals that have historically limited its progress.
Veteran midfielder Jack Morris highlighted the squad’s tight‑knit atmosphere, noting that new recruits have already embraced the group’s standards. Sophomore Adam Doyle expressed enthusiasm about returning to competition after a season away, while Espeso, who led the team with ten assists last year, is eager to translate that experience into a stronger start.
