Cameron Roller, the standout center back for Duke University’s women’s soccer program, has been named to the United Soccer Coaches Defenders to Watch List for the second consecutive year, highlighting her continued excellence on the defensive end.
Her performance over the past season reflects a blend of durability and impact, as she has started 53 straight games and appeared in 55 of 58 matches, contributing four goals and nine assists while helping the team record 29 shutouts.
A native of Sherman, Texas, Roller’s leadership has been evident both on and off the pitch, guiding Duke to a defensive record that ranks among the nation’s best and earning her recognition as the 2024 ACC Defensive Player of the Year.
The accolades extend beyond conference honors; she was also selected to the 2025 preseason All‑ACC team and remains a top candidate for the Hermann Trophy, awarded annually to the nation’s most outstanding player.
