Lindenwood University’s women’s basketball program has released its 2026‑27 schedule, a 32‑game slate that features 14 contests inside Hyland Arena and is guided by first‑year head coach Phil Sayers.
The season opens with a quick swing through Colorado, where the Lions will face Colorado State on November 2 before meeting Denver on November 4, setting the tone for a demanding early road stretch.
Opening Road Trip
After the Colorado swing, Lindenwood travels a five‑game road stretch across Missouri and Illinois, highlighted by meetings with Mizzou on November 15 and Illinois‑Chicago on November 19, before heading to Evansville, Indiana, to play the Purple Aces on November 21.
The road trip concludes with a brief return to Indiana, then the team heads back to Hyland Arena for a three‑game homestand that begins with Hannibal‑LaGrange on December 1 and includes games against South Dakota on December 4 and Missouri Baptist on December 14.
The non‑conference schedule also features a December 16 showdown at Kansas and a home game against Central Michigan on December 20, before the team steps into Ohio Valley Conference play with a road contest at SIUE on December 30.
January brings a blend of home and away fixtures, including a three‑game home stand against Tennessee State, Morehead State and Eastern Illinois, while February sees a late‑season road trip that ends with a series of home games against SIUE, Western Illinois and SEMO, rounding out a busy finish to the campaign.
