A Rising Star in College Soccer
Jadyn Holdenried, a midfielder from Washington University, has been named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Midfielder to Watch list, a preseason honor that highlights the nation’s most promising collegiate players.
The recognition comes after a breakout 2025 season in which Holdenried led the Huskies with 19 points, including seven goals and five assists, while also delivering five match‑winning goals that placed her second in the Big Ten and 24th nationally.
Her veteran presence, evidenced by 63 career appearances and 43 starts, has helped the team secure a Big Ten Championship push, a campaign that could see the Huskies return to the College Cup for the first time since 2001.
Holdenried’s accolades also include Second Team All‑Big Ten honors and All‑North Region recognition, underscoring her consistent performance across multiple seasons.
