Kentucky Wildcats Kick Off Preseason Soccer with Fan Day Doubleheader

Fans gather at Bell Soccer Complex for matches, autograph sessions and free entry as the Wildcats prepare for the 2026 season

The University of Kentucky’s men’s and women’s soccer programs are set to welcome supporters to a lively Fan Day doubleheader at the Bell Soccer Complex this Saturday, offering a first look at the squads before the 2026 campaign gets underway.

Fan Day Highlights

The afternoon’s centerpiece will be a 5 p.m. exhibition match in which the Wildcats host Lexington Sporting Club, with the defending champions’ trophy on display and a post‑match autograph session that lets fans meet the players face‑to‑face.

Following the women’s match on August 16, the men’s team will take on Northern Kentucky at 7:30 p.m. ET, and the preseason slate will also include games against Detroit Mercy on August 12 and Kent State on August 16, culminating in a final exhibition against UAB on August 14 at The Bell.

All home matches throughout the regular season are free to the public, and updates on schedules, rosters and behind‑the‑scenes content can be followed on UKathletics.com as well as the program’s Facebook, Instagram and X accounts.

Season Opener

The 2026 regular season will open on August 20 with a matchup against Western Michigan, marking the start of a schedule that blends competitive fixtures with community‑focused events.
