2026 Season Promotional Highlights
Kent State’s soccer program has released its 2026 promotional schedule, a lineup that blends competitive fixtures with a series of fan‑focused celebrations.
The season opens with a scrimmage against the Mercyhurst Lakers on Saturday, August 8, at 1 p.m. at Zoeller Field, giving early supporters a first look at the roster.
The home opener follows on Thursday, August 13, at 7 p.m. against Cleveland State, branded as a "Home‑Opener" night that sets the tone for the campaign.
A "Back to School Kickoff" matchup with Kansas arrives on Sunday, August 23, at 1 p.m., and the first 100 fans in attendance will receive a special giveaway.
Later in September, the program will honor service members during Military Appreciation Day on Thursday, September 3, at 6 p.m. when the team hosts Oakland.
Senior Day is slated for Sunday, September 6, at 1 p.m. against Cornell, providing a tribute to the graduating class.
Youth Day will take place on Sunday, September 20, at 1 p.m. versus Miami(OH), featuring local youth clubs and early‑fan incentives.
Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day arrives on Thursday, October 1, at 7 p.m. when Western Michigan visits, and the university will recognize its most valuable professors.
The Cancer Awareness game against Ball State on Thursday, October 15, at 7 p.m. will include a powder‑blue scarf giveaway to raise visibility for the cause.
A "Powder Blue Out" contest with Bowling Green on Sunday, October 18, at 1 p.m. will reward the first 200 fans with jerseys.
The final themed event, Beach Day, is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, at 1 p.m. against TSDTR, and the first 200 attendees will receive bucket hats.
All of these matchups will be played at Zoeller Field at Dix Stadium, where early arrivals can claim exclusive promotional items tied to each special day.
