Sibling Signings Strengthen Gladiators' Roster
The Atlanta Gladiators have announced the addition of brothers Joey and Anthony Cipollone to their roster for the 2026‑27 campaign, a move that underscores the team’s intent to blend proven experience with fresh talent.
Joey Cipollone, 27, arrives after a career‑year in which he tallied 37 points, including 17 goals and 20 assists, across 72 games and was one of only three skaters to appear in every contest for the Gladiators during the 2025‑26 season.
His younger brother, Anthony Cipollone, 24, is set to embark on his first professional contract after a four‑year stint at Quinnipiac University, where he contributed to the program’s inaugural NCAA championship in 2023 as a freshman.
Championship Pedigree Meets Professional Ambition
Anthony’s collegiate résumé includes a strong showing with 52 points in 75 games for the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, a league championship in 2022, and a memorable run that helped Quinnipiac capture its first national title.
Both players have extensive junior and collegiate backgrounds, with Joey’s professional debut coming with the Worcester Railers in 2023‑24, where he posted 22 points in 63 appearances, while Anthony’s junior career also featured a 52‑point season with the Bandits.
The Gladiators, an ECHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators and the Milwaukee Admirals, will look to leverage the brothers’ depth and championship pedigree as they aim to contend for a playoff berth in the upcoming season.
