Hosted by Drexel University at its Daskalakis Athletic Center, the tournament unfolds over a weekend in August, featuring professional veterans, college standouts, and elite high school prospects. All proceeds are directed to the Daniel E. Rumph II Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free hypertrophic cardiomyopathy screenings, CPR certification classes, and youth basketball programs across Philadelphia. The foundation’s initiatives also include the placement of AED units in local gyms and recreation centers, reinforcing public safety in public spaces.
The tournament’s growing prestige is reflected in the caliber of alumni who have taken part.
