Reader poll crowns standout athletes
The Enquirer’s annual reader poll, released this week, identified the top performers in Cincinnati boys soccer for the 2025 season, recognizing excellence at each key position.
Cristian Dominguez of Norwood emerged as the premier forward, tallying 18 goals and 10 assists while earning first‑team All‑MVC and all‑city honors, a testament to his offensive firepower.
Forrest Cloran, also from Summit Country Day, was selected as the league’s top midfielder after contributing three goals and five assists during the team’s championship run, garnering all‑district and first‑team all‑city selections.
Sam Viltro, the defensive anchor for Summit Country Day, helped his side capture a Division V state title; his solid backline featured three goals and a 12‑6‑6 record, underscoring his dual threat capabilities.
Landen Darling of Mason was named the best goalkeeper, posting 10.5 shutouts as a sophomore and guiding his team to a 14‑1‑3 record while allowing just nine goals all season.
