Drake University announced today that transfer forward Allie Myers will join the Bulldogs for the 2026‑27 campaign, adding a proven rebounding force to a squad that is already brimming with fresh talent. The signing comes as the program prepares to integrate three incoming freshmen, promising a blend of experience and youthful energy.
Rebounding Powerhouse Arrives in Des Moines
Myers’ collegiate journey began at Seward County Community College, where she dominated the paint with a career‑high 13 rebounds per game and earned All‑Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honors. In her freshman year she recorded 14 double‑digit performances and posted a personal best 30 points against Northwest Kansas Tech, underscoring her scoring versatility.
After a stint at Tarleton State University, where she averaged nearly four rebounds per game and contributed 2.7 points per contest, Myers transferred to Drake. Her time in Stephenville and New Mexico was preceded by a high‑school career at Carlsbad High School, where she averaged 15 points and six rebounds as a senior and was named First Team All‑District.
