During the event, the American contingent forged unexpected bonds with athletes from 28 other nations, sharing meals, stories, and the simple joy of a common sport. Krompinger described the experience as a cultural immersion that broadened her perspective on the game and on life beyond the pitch.
On the field, she contributed two goals in seven appearances, helping the U.S. finish seventh overall. Her performance echoed earlier successes, notably a stint at the 2023 Pan American Games in Argentina and the 2024 Can‑Am Games in Canada, where she had already proven her scoring ability.
