Belmont Women’s Soccer Unveils 2026 Fall Schedule with Ambitious Lineup

The Bruins will test themselves against top-tier opponents, including MVC powerhouses and SEC rivals, as head coach Kelsey Cameron looks to build on last season's momentum.

Belmont University has officially released its 2026 women's soccer fall schedule, a slate that pits the Bruins against a host of nationally recognized opponents.

The lineup includes several programs ranked in the Top 100 and four teams that earned NCAA Tournament berths in 2025, underscoring the non‑conference challenge the coaching staff has assembled.

A Challenging Road Ahead

Head coach Kelsey Cameron said the schedule is designed to test the team's depth and bring a variety of playing styles to Nashville, expressing confidence that the tough early fixtures will sharpen the Bruins for MVC competition.

The Bruins open with a home clash against Tennessee Tech on August 12, a squad that captured the Ohio Valley Conference title last season, before traveling to Louisville on August 23 and making a September 6 visit to Ole Miss.

Belmont’s first MVC test arrives on September 20 against the University of Illinois at Chicago, the defending conference champions, setting the tone for a demanding conference run.

Later in the fall, the Bruins will host Southern Illinois on October 3, welcome Evansville on October 10, and journey to Valparaiso on October 24, each opponent promising a distinct tactical challenge.

The 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament is slated for November 8‑15, with matches spread across host venues, giving the team a chance to culminate the season with a final push toward the NCAA Tournament.
