Academic Honor Highlights Broncos' Season Preview
Boise State's men's soccer team has been celebrated for its scholarly achievements, capturing the 2025‑26 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award, an honor that recognizes programs maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The Broncos posted a cumulative GPA of 3.67, the highest recorded for the program in more than thirteen years, underscoring a culture that values both athletics and scholarship.
This marks the tenth time the program has earned the award, a milestone that reflects sustained commitment to academic standards, and it arrives for the first time since the 2019‑20 season, highlighting a resurgence of academic excellence within the squad.
The recognition, presented annually to collegiate programs with a collective GPA of at least 3.0, places Boise State among a select group of teams that excel in the classroom as well as on the pitch.
Looking ahead, the Broncos are set to open their 2026 campaign at home against CSUN on August 12, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. Mountain Time at the Boise Soccer Complex, a venue that will witness the team's blend of athletic ambition and academic distinction.
