The national basketball recruiting circuit is buzzing as Jalen Davis, a five‑star guard from Bremerton High School in Washington, prepares for a pivotal recruitment milestone that could influence the future of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
A Timely Visit
Davis is set to travel to Iowa on October 3 for an official visit, capping a whirlwind tour that already includes stops at Washington, Ole Miss, Stanford, UCLA and Gonzaga.
During the Adidas 3SSB season he posted averages of 24.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.8 steals while playing for Slow Grind Elite, earning him the No. 17 national ranking and the top spot in Washington according to 247Sports.
More Than One Star on the Radar
Iowa’s interest extends beyond Davis; the Hawkeyes are also courting fellow elite guards Cayden Daughtry and Jaxson Davis, both of whom have already visited the campus in September, underscoring a broader push to attract top talent.
