The Little League International Tournament Committee has ruled that the Elmhurst Youth Baseball Little League team is no longer eligible to continue in the International Tournament. The decision follows the discovery that a participant on the Elmhurst squad violated the organization’s official regulations, playing rules, and operating policies.
Committee’s Final Ruling
As a consequence of the ruling, the Elmhurst team was forced to forfeit its most recent game, effectively ending its tournament run.
The committee subsequently elevated the second‑placed Whitefish Bay Little League to the position of Central Region champion.
Whitefish Bay will now carry the region’s banner to the Junior League Baseball World Series, where it will compete against teams from around the globe.
The committee emphasized that its decision is final and binding, leaving no room for appeal.
