Despite the setback, Preece remains in a competitive position on the playoff cutline, keeping his chances of advancing to the next round alive heading into the final stretch of the season.
Iowa Speedway, a 7/8‑mile oval located in Newton, Iowa, will host the event, with teams completing a 50‑minute practice session before qualifying takes place.
