Jake Young of Cairo‑Durham High turned in a solid outing, pitching six innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out six and walking three. Jackson Barcone contributed two runs in the fourth, driving in two more to give the team a brief 2‑1 lead.
Greater Pittston capitalized on two unearned runs in the sixth and one in the seventh to secure the 4‑3 victory, ending the season for the merged squad.
