The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association has unveiled the 2026 All‑State baseball teams, recognizing the standout performances of high school players across the state.
Class 4A Highlights
Among the Class 4A honorees, Mason City seniors Lincoln Berding and Gabe Reis earned spots on the All‑State roster, capping a season that saw their team finish among the top contenders.
Class 1A Recognition
Newman Catholic and Saint Ansgar also saw multiple players named to the All‑State lists, with West Cole of Newman Catholic receiving First Team Junior Outfielder honors and Anthony Schnable of Saint Ansgar earning First Team Sophomore Outfielder.
Additional selections from the two schools included Porter Schwiesow of Saint Ansgar as First Team Sophomore Utility Player, Kam Kropp of Newman Catholic as Second Team Freshman Second Baseman, and Teagen Eisenlohr of Newman Catholic as Second Team Senior Utility Player.
The All‑State roster continued with Connor Mullenbach of Saint Ansgar named Third Team Senior Pitcher, Seth Shotts of Saint Ansgar as Third Team Senior Catcher, and Thomas McGuire of Newman Catholic as Third Team Junior Utility Player, rounding out a deep pool of talent.
The announcements arrived just before the conclusion of the Iowa high school baseball season, providing a final snapshot of the year’s achievements before teams transition to postseason play.
