A schedule built for exposure
The University of Georgia announced its complete 2026‑27 men’s basketball schedule, a nonconference slate that deliberately pits the Bulldogs against some of the nation’s most recognizable programs.
Key dates include a home opener against North Carolina Central on November 2, 2026, followed by road trips to face North Carolina and Georgia Tech, and a showdown with ACC champion Duke in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden on December 8.
The Bulldogs will also host Boston College in the ACC/SEC Challenge on December 1 and travel to Orlando for neutral‑site contests against Cincinnati and UCF as part of the ESPN Events Invitational, while early home games against Presbyterian, Florida Gulf Coast and Jacksonville round out the opening stretch.
Coach Mike White said the lineup reflects the program’s growth, noting that the mix of marquee matchups and high‑visibility venues is intended to increase TV exposure and cement Georgia’s reputation on the national stage.
By scheduling games at neutral sites such as Madison Square Garden and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Georgia hopes to attract new fans, broaden its broadcast footprint and signal that the program is moving forward with ambition.
