Fordham University’s women’s soccer program has officially released its 2026 fall schedule, a 18‑game slate that blends non‑conference challenges with a full Atlantic 10 slate. The campaign opens on August 13 with a road test at Georgetown, setting the tone for a season that will see the Rams travel across the Northeast and Mid‑Atlantic.
Preseason Preparations
Fans can mark their calendars for the first home appearance on August 20, when Fordham hosts Manhattan College. The team will also get a taste of competition earlier, with preseason exhibitions against Long Island University on August 5 and Sacred Heart on August 9, games that coach Magnus Nilerud says will help fine‑tune the roster before the official start.
Non‑conference opponents include Marist, Hofstra, Stonehill, Columbia and Yale, each matchup promising a different style of play and a chance to build momentum heading into conference play.
Conference Roadmap
Atlantic 10 action kicks off on September 20 with a home clash against Loyola Chicago. The Rams will then host Davidson, VCU, La Salle and George Washington, while hitting the road for contests at George Mason, St. Bonaventure, Saint Joseph’s, Dayton and the University of Richmond. Each of those venues brings its own atmosphere, and the schedule is designed to test the team’s depth and resilience.
The intensity ramps up in November as the Atlantic 10 Championship begins on November 5, culminating in the title game on November 15. The tournament format promises a high‑stakes finish to the regular season, with the final set to crown the conference champion.
