Bristol Motor Speedway has confirmed that two of its most iconic NASCAR races will return to their long‑standing dates in 2027, bringing back the Food City 500 in April and the Bass Pro Shops Night Race in August.
A Return to Tradition
The spring weekend will unfold from April 9 through 11, featuring the main Cup Series contest alongside a full slate of support events, including the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Tennessee Army National Guard 250 on the opening day and a qualifying session on the second.
In August, the night‑time spectacle will take place from August 12 to 14, marking the first time in years that the event will be held on those dates, and it will again host the Truck Series UNOH 250 presented by Ohio Logistics before the Cup Series finale on the final day.
