Marshall University’s women’s basketball program has released its full slate for the 2026‑27 season, a schedule that blends a rigorous non‑conference slate with a nine‑game Sun Belt Conference slate.
Head coach Juli Fulks said the schedule is designed to build momentum heading into conference play, highlighting the excitement of the upcoming home games.
The season opens with two exhibition contests: a meeting with UPIKE on October 16 and a showdown against Kentucky Christian on October 27, both set to take place at the Cam Henderson Center.
Marshall will then host a trio of consecutive home games in early November against NC A&T, Howard and West Virginia State, providing early tests before the team travels to face Harvard in its final non‑conference home appearance on December 6.
The non‑conference schedule also includes a MAC‑SBC Challenge on February 6, adding another marquee matchup before the team turns its focus to Sun Belt competition.
Championship Finale
Sun Belt opponents on the calendar include Appalachian State on December 16, Louisiana Tech on January 7 and Georgia State on January 14, each promising competitive contests as the Herd looks to climb the conference standings.
The climax of the season will be the Sun Belt Conference Championship, scheduled for March 3‑8 in Pensacola, Florida, where the team hopes to capture its first title in program history.
