2026‑27 Non‑Conference Schedule Unveiled
The University of South Florida Women's Basketball program has announced its full non‑conference slate for the 2026‑27 season, a 14‑game lineup that blends early‑season road challenges with a series of home events at the Yuengling Center. New head coach Kristy Curry will make her debut on November 2, when the Bulls host Furman in the season opener.
The early road portion includes a trip to Nashville, where USF will face Belmont on November 6 and Rhode Island on November 8, followed by a visit to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators on November 12. These contests will test the team’s depth before the home schedule ramps up.
Six of the non‑conference games will be played on the Bulls’ home floor, beginning with Furman on November 2, then FIU on November 15, Binghamton on November 18, UAPB on December 1, Morgan State on December 4, and Longwood on December 15. Each of these matchups offers a chance for the team to build momentum heading into the holiday stretch.
The schedule also features four multi‑team tournaments: the WBCA Showcase in Orlando on November 22, the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands from November 27‑28, and the Cherokee Invitational in Cherokee, North Carolina, slated for December 20‑21. These events will provide competitive exposure against a variety of opponents.
Beyond the upcoming season, the Bulls boast a strong pedigree, with 19 postseason tournament appearances and 10 NCAA Tournament berths over the past 25 years, highlighted by a 2008‑09 WNIT championship. With Curry at the helm, the program aims to extend that tradition of success and push for another deep run in March.
