Brookhaven Bucks capture third Sunbelt title

This victory marks the third title in Bucks history, following back‑to‑back championships in 2018 and 2019, underscoring a legacy of sustained excellence in the league.
Andrew Bernard, a standout from Brevard College, earned MVP honors after posting a 5‑7 record with five RBI, three runs, two doubles and a stolen base in the series.
Pitcher John Kosobud of Dunwoody was awarded the Sunbelt League Cy Young Award, recognizing his dominance on the mound throughout the championship run.
Three Bucks players — Kason Gleaton of Bethune‑Cookman University, Chip Glogorski of Georgia College and John Kosobud — were selected to the All‑Sunbelt Team, highlighting the roster’s depth.
The 2024 roster blended talent from 23 different U.S. colleges, featuring local standouts Coleman Eldridge from Brookhaven and Will Forte from Dunwoody, both of whom contributed key performances.
