During the 2025‑26 season with the Seminoles, Wiggins posted averages of 13.3 points and 3.9 rebounds over 32 appearances, while his shooting efficiency climbed to 47.9 percent on two‑point attempts and 38.7 percent from beyond the arc.
His breakout performance came on March 7, when he erupted for 31 points against SMU, marking the highest single‑game total of his college tenure and underscoring his growth as a scorer.
A New Chapter at Gonzaga
Wiggins also made a notable return to his former ACC foe, Clemson, on February 21, contributing seven points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal in a road victory for Florida State.
The guard’s eligibility for a fifth year was secured after a legal injunction cleared the path for an additional season, allowing him to extend his collegiate journey.
Prior to his breakout, Wiggins had already tasted deep tournament runs, having been part of a Clemson squad that reached the Elite Eight the previous year, where he started 18 games and averaged 5.4 points and 2.1 rebounds.
His freshman season was modest, limited to 8.9 minutes per game and 2.4 points, but his trajectory shifted dramatically after transferring and earning a larger role.
Before arriving in Tallahassee, he gained a taste of professional exposure during a stint in the NBA Summer League with the Boston Celtics, averaging 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 7.7 minutes per game.
