The incident, captured on video, showed the 16‑year‑old teammate being stripped and repeatedly shot with a pellet gun, a scene that left the victim physically unharmed but emotionally scarred.
Following the assault, the teenager quit the football program, describing a loss of friendships and a deep disillusionment with the sport he once loved.
School District Response
Lewisville Independent School District confirmed that it had investigated the matter and classified the conduct as both bullying and hazing, though officials declined to disclose any disciplinary actions taken against the perpetrators.

The victim’s family has been vocal in their criticism, accusing law enforcement and school officials of missing critical investigative steps and allowing systemic failures to persist.
