Former Duke standout Cooper Flagg is swapping the NBA spotlight for a grassroots basketball experience in Maine.
Flagg Brothers' ProCamp Brings Youth Coaching to Orono
From August 15 through 16, the brothers will host a two‑day ProCamp open to children aged six to thirteen, with each day running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The program promises intensive drills, skill development and the chance to learn directly from the Flagg duo.
Participants will receive a commemorative team photo with both brothers and a limited‑edition camp T‑shirt, included in the $249 registration fee. The event, held in Orono, will feature separate sessions for each day, allowing youngsters to focus on fundamentals and game‑situational play.
Cooper Flagg, the 2026 NBA Rookie of the Year, enters his second professional season after a debut with the Dallas Mavericks in which he averaged 21 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists. His brother, Ace Flagg, is a sophomore at the University of Maine and will join his sibling in leading the camp’s instruction.
The ProCamp reflects a growing trend of professional athletes giving back to their communities through youth sports initiatives. By combining high‑level coaching with a fun, interactive environment, the Flagg brothers aim to inspire the next generation of basketball talent in the region.
