Cuyahoga Community College has named Ryan Meier its new head coach for the men’s basketball team, the Triceratops, bringing a proven track record of championship success to the program.
A distinguished coaching résumé
Meier’s 226‑186 record at La Jolla Country Day School includes two San Diego Section titles and a California Division III state championship in 2018‑19, as well as five 20‑win seasons and multiple regional appearances.
During his two‑year stint as associate head coach at Palomar College the Comets posted a 36‑23 record, and he contributed to community service and diversity initiatives through the San Diego CIF Men’s Coaches Advisory Council for 14 years.
He holds an Associate of Arts from Palomar College, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, San Marcos, and is currently pursuing a Master in Coaching and Exercise Science at Concordia University‑Irvine.
