The Eastern Kentucky University women's soccer squad entered the 2026 campaign as the clear favorite in the United Athletic Conference, capturing seven of eight first‑place votes in the preseason coaches' poll. Adding to the excitement, six EKU student‑athletes earned spots on the Preseason All‑UAC Team, the most selections in program history. The honorees span the attacking and midfield lines, highlighting the team's depth across every offensive position.
Goalkeeping Excellence Recognized
Sophomore goalkeeper Jordan LeVasseur received the conference's Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year award and was also named among the 20 goalkeepers to watch by United Soccer Coaches. Her recognition underscores the defensive stability that helped the Colonels earn the top poll position.
The All‑UAC honorees include forwards Avery May, Ana Manning and Lauren Link, midfielder Chiara Premoli, and senior midfielder/defender Rachel Robinson.
