Arizona Wildcats women's basketball unveiled its 2026‑27 non‑conference schedule, a slate that promises a rigorous test before stepping into Big 12 competition.
Marquee matchup with UCLA
The centerpiece of the schedule is a showdown with the defending national champion UCLA Bruins, slated for a road trip to Pauley Pavilion on November 12, offering the Wildcats a chance to measure themselves against a perennial powerhouse.
Earlier in the month, Arizona will travel to Las Vegas to meet Stanford in the Hall of Fame Classic on November 2, a game that will also feature other top programs and add a neutral‑site experience to the lineup.
Home fans can look forward to a series of high‑profile matchups, including a Nov. 15 visit from Oregon State, a program with which the Wildcats share a longstanding series, and a Nov. 19 contest against New Mexico State at the McKale Center.
The non‑conference slate also includes a multi‑team event in Jacksonville from Nov. 23‑25, where Arizona will meet New Mexico and other opponents, followed by a home game against Sacramento State on Nov. 29 for the annual Field Trip Day.
Later in December, the Wildcats will host Northern Arizona on Dec. 13 and Oakland on Dec. 16 to close out their non‑conference schedule, while earlier exhibition contests against Embry‑Riddle and Cal State Monterey Bay are set for Oct. 22 and Oct. 27 respectively.
Coach's vision
Coach Becky Burke highlighted the purpose of the schedule, stating that the challenging lineup is designed to sharpen the team’s depth and resilience as they prepare for the rigors of Big 12 play.
