Season tickets now on sale for 2027
Fans looking to support Florida Gulf Coast University’s baseball and softball teams can purchase season tickets for the 2027 campaign immediately, with a limited-time waiver of all ticketing fees for purchases completed before June 15.
The announcement comes as both programs reflect on a standout 2026 season that saw unprecedented fan engagement. FGCU Baseball drew 16,796 spectators, ranking as the third‑highest total attendance in school history, while the softball team set new benchmarks with 13,168 fans and a capacity‑fill rate of 109.73%.
Record‑breaking performances and accolades
The baseball squad secured the No. 3 seed in the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship and closed the regular season with a 10‑win stretch over its final 14 games. The team also earned eight all‑conference honors, highlighted by Player of the Year Jon Embury and Pitcher of the Year Evan Dempsey.
Head coach Dave Tollett, who has guided the Eagles to 17 consecutive seasons with at least 30 victories, continues to shape a culture of excellence. Meanwhile, softball coach Lindsay Fico’s inaugural season produced standout moments, including Olivia Black’s Scholar‑Athlete of the Year award and freshmen Julia Bacoulis and Maceknzie Leiti landing spots on the ASUN All‑Freshman Team.
These achievements underscore the university’s growing athletic profile and set an optimistic tone as the programs head into the 2027 schedule. With ticket fees suspended for early buyers, the upcoming season promises strong attendance and continued community support.
