The 23‑year‑old driver, grandson of longtime team owner Joe Gibbs, entered the race fourth in the championship standings and moved up to second after the win, trailing points leader Denny Hamlin by 103 points.
A Strategic Late‑Race Pit Stop
With 60 laps remaining, both Gibbs and Bell made pit stops; Gibbs chose to take only two fresh tires while Bell fitted four, a gamble that paid off as the younger driver surged ahead.
The strategy allowed Gibbs to overtake Ross Chastain, who had pitted on lap 330, and to maintain the lead through the closing stages, while pole‑sitter Ryan Blaney led a race‑high 129 laps before settling for third.
Josh Berry secured fourth place, his best finish of the season, while Denny Hamlin fought back from the rear of the field after unapproved car modifications triggered brake issues, ultimately finishing fifth.
