A coach’s legacy
Jeremey Finn, who steered the team for seven years, finished with a 124‑42 overall record and collected multiple OPSMA Division I Coach of the Year honors. Under his guidance, standout forward Maddy Westbeld earned Ms. Basketball honors and a McDonald’s All‑American nod.
Finn announced his departure to join the coaching staff at Wittenberg University, where he will serve as an assistant with the women’s basketball program, marking the end of an era that reshaped the program’s national profile.

The school administration has set a target to appoint a successor by August 31, 2026, giving the new leader just weeks before the start of the 2026‑27 season. The transition comes as the roster will lose six seniors and a pivotal junior star from the championship lineup.
