Colorado State University’s women’s soccer program has earned its first spotlight on the Pac‑12’s 2026 Impact Players list, a testament to the team’s rapid ascent since joining the conference.
At the center of the recognition is senior midfielder Mia Casey, whose career totals of 16 goals, 11 assists and 43 points have placed her among the most prolific players in program history. In the most recent season she started every match, tallying four goals and three assists while converting half of her 22 shots on goal.
Casey’s 2024 campaign was especially historic, as she recorded 21 points — a figure that ranks within the top five single‑season marks for the Rams. Her performances earned her First Team All‑Mountain West honors and a spot on the 2025 and 2026 United Soccer Coaches Midfielders Watch List.
Redshirt junior Avery Boulom also made the list after shouldering a heavier workload, logging over 1,600 minutes across 18 starts. Her endurance and consistent presence on the field have been pivotal for the squad’s tactical flexibility.
A new era for Rams soccer
Freshman forward Bridget Arnold contributed a memorable moment in the 2024 Mountain West Tournament, scoring the game‑winner in a first‑round victory and delivering a career‑best three‑point performance against Nevada.
The Rams open their inaugural Pac‑12 schedule with a pair of high‑profile fixtures, beginning with a showdown against in‑state rival Colorado on Wednesday, followed by a home match against Denver on Sunday.
