Darlington Raceway announced that the 2027 NASCAR season will feature two headline weekends, including a spring tripleheader and a Labor Day weekend finale, each poised to showcase the track’s storied tradition.
Spring Tripleheader Returns
The spring event will host three of NASCAR’s national series in a single weekend: the Craftsman Truck Series, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and the Cup Series Goodyear 400. In addition, the fourth annual NASCAR Alumni Weekend will take place during the same weekend, celebrating the track’s rich history.
Later in the year, the iconic Cook Out Southern 500 will return as the Cup Series regular‑season finale on Labor Day weekend, slated for September 5, 2027, continuing a tradition that has drawn massive crowds in recent years.
President’s Vision
Darlington Raceway President Josh Harris emphasized the track’s legacy of iconic races and its enduring appeal to both competitors and fans, noting that the 2027 schedule reinforces the venue’s commitment to delivering unforgettable racing experiences.
Details on race start times and broadcast coverage will be released in the coming months, but anticipation is already building as fans look forward to another year of high‑octane competition at Darlington.
