Austin Peay Lowers Season Ticket Prices Ahead of New Conference Era

Affordable access fuels excitement for Govs basketball as they join the United Athletic Conference

Austin Peay State University has announced a new season‑ticket model for its men’s and women’s basketball programs that begins at just $100, with a premium sideline option priced at $250. The structure cuts the average cost per game by nearly 58 percent compared with the previous season, especially in the bowl sections that span 101 to 120.

A Community‑First Pricing

The reduction is part of the university’s broader effort to make Govs athletics more accessible, offering free admission to all current students as well as active‑duty and retired military personnel who present valid identification.

Both squads enter their inaugural United Athletic Conference season riding strong home performances; the men finished 12‑1 last year with a 92.3 percent home winning rate, the best since 2020, while the women reached the ASUN Championship game for the first time since 2010.

F&M Bank Arena, which hosted the three highest‑attended games in the arena’s history last season, will serve as the centerpiece of the conference slate, with the Governors aiming to turn the venue into the toughest place for opponents to win.

Fans can renew their tickets through Ticketmaster’s Account Manager or by calling the Austin Peay Ticket Office at 931‑221‑PEAY (7329), ensuring a straightforward process for those eager to lock in the new rates.

Beyond the numbers, the university says the initiative reflects its commitment to the community, student‑athletes and supporters, promising a season that is as inclusive as it is competitive.
