LSU Women’s Basketball Announces 2026‑27 Schedule with High‑Profile Matchups

The Tigers' slate features home‑court advantages, exhibition games and a marquee clash with UConn

A packed schedule ahead

LSU women's basketball unveiled its 2026‑27 schedule on Tuesday, marking the start of the Tigers' sixth season under head coach Kim Mulkey. The announcement comes as the program prepares for a slate that includes 17 home games, 10 road contests, and a series of exhibition and neutral‑site matchups.

The non‑conference portion opens with two home exhibitions at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center: UNT Dallas on October 22 and Loyola on October 29. The regular season debut follows on November 2, when LSU hosts the Southeastern Lions.

A highlight of the schedule is the December 20 clash with the UConn Huskies in Nashville, Tennessee. The game will feature a meeting of two of the most successful active coaches in women's college basketball, Kim Mulkey and Geno Auriemma.

SEC play sees each conference opponent appear once, except for Auburn, which will meet LSU twice, including a road game on December 31. The Tigers are also slated for SEC byes on January 24 and February 18.

Returning from a Sweet Sixteen appearance, guards Mikaylah Williams and MiLaysia Fulwley, along with forward Kate Koval, are expected to lead the team's offense.
