The celebration will unfold across two marquee race weekends, one in April and another in November, each headlined by a NASCAR Cup Series event that promises championship‑defining drama.
In April, fans can expect a three‑day showcase beginning with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on April 16, followed by the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series on April 17, and culminating in the spring Cup Series race on April 18.
The November weekend will open with the Craftsman Truck Series on November 5, continue with the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series on November 6, and close with the season‑ending Cup Series race on November 7, which sits as the final event of The Chase.
Clay Campbell, President of Martinsville Speedway, said the anniversary offers a chance to honor eight decades of NASCAR history and the track’s legacy of legendary moments.
