A Season of Promise and Setback
Head coach JT Crews, now in his sixth year at the helm, guided the team through a demanding schedule that featured home night games at 7 p.m. and road matchups against traditional rivals.
Among the standout performers were Logan Hamilton, a two‑way lineman who anchors both the offensive line and defensive front, Chayce Spraker, a versatile interior lineman, and Xander Coleman, a defensive back who also contributes at wing.
The Cavaliers’ slate included contests on August 28 at Gretna, September 4 against Stanton River, October 16 versus E.C. Glass, and a dramatic overtime loss on November 6 to Heritage that ultimately cost them a playoff berth.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Despite graduating several seniors, Crews remains confident that the returning offensive line and a core of experienced underclassmen will provide the chemistry needed for a deeper postseason push next year.
The coaching staff emphasized the importance of building continuity while integrating younger talent, a strategy that could translate into a stronger showing in the 2026 season.
