Niagara University’s hockey head coach, Jason Lammers, has released the full schedule for the 2026‑27 season, outlining a campaign that blends non‑conference challenges with the rigors of Atlantic Hockey America.
A Full‑Season Roadmap
The plan calls for ten games outside the league and twenty‑four contests within the conference, beginning with a home opener against Rochester Institute of Technology on October 2 and concluding with the Atlantic Hockey playoffs in March.
The early stretch takes the Purple Eagles on the road to face Notre Dame on October 8‑9 before returning to the arena for a two‑game series against Union on October 23‑24.
November opens with a home-and‑home series versus Holy Cross on the 13th and 14th, followed by a back‑to‑back road trip to Robert Morris in Pennsylvania on the 28th and 29th.
December begins with a pair of games at the Air Force Academy in Colorado on the 4th and 5th, then the team heads back home for a New Year’s Eve showdown against Penn State.
January sees the Purple and White host Bentley on the 8th and 9th before embarking on a road swing that includes a trip to West Point to meet Army on February 4‑5.
The regular season wraps up with a home contest against RIT on February 25, setting the stage for the Atlantic Hockey playoffs that start on March 2 and culminate with the championship game on March 20.
