New Faces on the Rise

Junior fullback Carter Edwards will again wield his power running, having logged 67 carries for 448 yards and two touchdowns last year and serving as a cornerstone of District 2’s top rushing attack. Senior tight end Kaylix Douglas, celebrated for his blocking skill and athletic upside, is slated to expand his involvement in the passing game while eyeing a breakout as a pass rusher. The program has introduced fresh offensive and defensive schemes, hoping to translate the momentum into a return to the District 2 Class 3A playoffs. At the heart of that ambition is junior running back Lucas Ciprich, who burst onto the scene with 808 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore and has been labeled a sleeper candidate for the new season.
