Mishawaka Marian’s Return to Form
Mishawaka Marian, the 2023 Class 2A state champion, enters the season after a 10‑7‑2 finish that ended in the sectional final against South Bend Adams. The team is ranked third in the Class 2A preseason poll and will compete in the Northern Indiana Conference after a 5‑2 conference record last year.
Goshen’s Veteran Squad
Goshen returns 14 players from a 15‑2‑1 squad that captured the Northern Lakes Conference title with a perfect 7‑0 mark. The team is placed fifth in the Class 3A preseason poll and boasts a senior‑laden lineup that could make it a serious contender.
Rebuilding Around Experience
